Dr. Chelsa Fore, DNP, MSN Ed, RN Dr. Chelsa Fore, DNP, MSN Ed, RN Chelsa Fore has an exuberating heart for people. At an early age she set out to positively impact her community. She volunteered at a local park as an Optimist Cheerleading Coach, empowering young girls to lift the spirits of others, little did she know this would be the beginning of her women empowerment movement. Chelsa started her career in nursing in 1997 at Jackson South Community Hospital’s Women’s Center, where she would be mentored as the youngest nursing staff for many years. Her exposure there inspired her to serve outside of her career. Together with a friend she formed Str8 Talk Inc. A not-for-profit organization for at risk teens. Through this organization many adolescents were cultivated, and lives were changed. Chelsa Fore received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Miami. Although she touched many lives as a staff nurse and child birthing coach, she was compelled to make greater impact. She pursued her Master of Science Degree and became a Nurse Educator where she would pour into many from her overflowing cup. She completed her Doctoral studies in Nursing Leadership at Jacksonville University where she currently serves as full-time faculty and Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She also actively serves on the Executive Board of the First Coast Black Nurses Association as President. Aside from her career in nursing, she met and married the love of her life and is the mother of 3 children. She is the co-founder with her spouse of Stay Together, a support group which sponsors and promotes dating in marriages. She is intensely involved as Team captain in the children’s ministry at Excel Church and is a contributing partner of an Elite multi-entity company L3gacy Inc.
