Thalisa Adkins RN, MSN Thalisa Adkins MS, BSN, CPC, CRC Thalisa has always had a heart to help humanity. It started when she a youth and would volunteer at the neighborhood park. She was junior cheerleading coach and would assist with concessions, as well as volunteering in any capacity with various organizations. Whenever someone asked her about what she wanted to be when she grew up, it was always a career that would help others better themselves. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Then she received her Master of Science in Mental Health and Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She changed her career path and earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from Florida State College of Jacksonville and then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. She started her career in nursing at Regents Park of Jacksonville. After gaining nursing experience she then went on to become a dialysis nurse. Currently she works for WellMed as a Manager in Clinical Data Operations. Thalisa continues to work in the community to spread awareness to others related to healthcare. She is a member of Educating Minorities about Transplants, where she participates in events to educate others on how to receive a transplant, while lending a sympathetic listening ear. She is also a member of First Coast Black Nurse Association, where she serves on the Executive Board as First Vice President and Chairman of the Membership Committee.
